29.0 to 29.2 MHz is popular for AM.

A lot of guys buy 7 MHz crystals from me to multiply into that range...

I don't really have a preference.

Over the past decade or so, I've regularly made 10 mtr AM contacts from
28.5 and up.  Most has been between 28.5 and 29.

I have had a pretty good bit of success.

We ought to post this discussion on the AM List.
