[Boatanchors] Old call book assistance

I have a 70 year old receiver with a call sign written in it, on the chassis.

The
 call sign is W8ILZ and I acquired the receiver from a ham in Ann Arbor 
Michigan. I never met him and never knew his call sign.

I am 
curious whether W8ILZ was the ham, I acquired it from and if W8ILZ lived
 in Ann Arbor Michigan in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

W8ILZ 
might have been a ham who owned it before the person I acquired it from.
 If You can find the time and have old call books, I would appreciate if
 you would check back on him and let me know what you find on W9ILZ.
