    Yes it's true.  I distinctly remember the auction and the final 
price was $10,100.  I also remember the discussion that I had with Joe 
about that later.  He wanted it and he has the money to do it.  So he 
owns it.  I don't think that the one that was donated to the ARRL is the 
same one, though.
