Hi Olaf,

First I would suspect your wattmeter. 700-900 watts out of 4 811a's is a lot
of power. They would turn red in seconds at that output if you could even
get that much out. 500-600 watts out would be normal.

What kind of transceiver are you using to drive it with? Does it have an
antenna tuner built in? if not you will not be able to get full drive into
the untuned 811a's.

How much of a plate current dip are you seeing on 80 compared to the other
bands.
Is your loading capacitor at maximum capacitance or at minimum capacitance?
