[Boatanchors] Packing materials

A large grocery store at restocking time is a gold mine for packing
material. Just find out in advance when the re-stocking crews are doing
their thing. Another place I poke around at is the Chinese grocery store.
All the stuff they sell comes in boxes from overseas but are usually too
small for the typical BA shipment. OK for mics, small tubes, parts etc.
No idea about foam resources but I do have a tip for you. Do not rely on
styrofoam peanuts for packing anything with a "dense" weight. During
shipment the peanuts settle to the bottom of the box and are no longer
useful. Styrofoam sheeting like the moded stuff inside the box of say; a
microwave oven or DVD player work very well. For really heavy stuff and
medium sized, like a large power transformer or transceiver power supply,
old clothes work very well. It will literally immobilze what ever is in
that box.
