[Boatanchors] Old miltary gear

speaking off old military gear,  does anyone know if the "milsurplus" group is still going? 
Also, what about "Armyradios?"

As long as we're talking about old military gear, I have a question.

During most of the 1950s, I had a military set that had been modified (I think) for 6M.  It was crystal controlled and CW only.

I worked quite a number of stations with it.  Of course, during most of that time period the solar flux was way up there.

While I don't remember much about the rig, I do remember it had an 832A tripling into an 832A.  Someone told me that it was 8 watts out.

I'm wondering if anyone knows what that rig might have been?
