Brian,

The transformer is 7 wires total.
120 volts AC 2 ea.
6,3 volts AC 2 ea filaments
560 volts end to end with center tap (3 ea) at 280 volts.
The 6X5 plates read 280 volts AC each.
The 6X5 cathode reads about 280 volts DC.

The 280 volts DC B+ drops across a 10K 2 watt resistor to a 250 volt cap.
At the cap B+ reads 185 volts.

Dropping 280 - 185 = 95 volts across 10k for .0095 amps

On my 214 every thing mounts to the face plate so it can come out of the
case. One bolt behind the meter face holds the battery clips. My 214 uses a
pair of big D cells.
A 6x5 6SN7 and a 6H6. My 6H6 is a solid state diode pair branded Eico.

The transformer is small only about 2 x 2 x 1.5 thick. Good luck and hope
you can restore the meter.

My 214 is a big meter face and I love it on the bench. The DC probe needs a
1Meg resistor in series with it. On the original the resistor was in the
meter probe. I replaced the test wires with front panel banana jacks and put
the 1 meg DC probe resistor inside the case. Now I just use stock meter leads.
