[Boatanchors] DRAKE 2B Tube substitutions

Yes, Steve. It's close to dead on Diode (AM) Mode. Product Detector mode is much better. I am hoping the new 6BF6 will fix that. 
 
Will I do any damage if I keep the 6BE6 in the V-6 slot until I get the 6BF6?

Perhaps the former owner just wanted to populate the sockets with one of those glass things that light up? I'm refering to the red switch on front, PROD/DIODE. Put it in DIODE. Bet it's dead.
