You're just not getting into the "Pickers" or "Roadshow" mindset, Rob.   
The media has now convinced everyone that everything is valuable, and 
instant riches are only an eBay click away ;-)    At least some of their 
listings provide entertainment for the rest of us!

I will say I bought one batch of vintage QSL cards off eBay many years 
ago - I remember the bid was less than the postage.  I only bid because 
the seller said they were from the 20s and 30s, and I thought they would 
provide some interesting historical reading.  Turned out to be an 
understatement - for example one card is from and signed by G5RV.  I'd 
never get that lucky again, but a ham historian could very well be 
interested in old QSL cards.
