I'm selling some radio's. Prefer local pickup in Saint Paul MN, but I will consider driving some distance to meet half way if you buy alot. Heck, if you buy them all I'll consider delivering to Milwaukee or even Chicago. For some of these radios I use the term 'worked last time used' and kind of chuckle to myself over those eyebrow raising words :) . Those radios were in daily use up till when they were placed on the back room shelf. Some of these radios were purchased with the intention of restoration but I simply never got around to restoring them so they have not been opened, or recapped, or restored, or even plugged in so I have no knowledge of their working condition. A couple of the radios have problems and I try to state the problems. If you are interested in those, we can have additional discussions and pictures. I have not taken any pictures yet so email me if you want pictures. I will not ship these so please don't ask.
Collins 32V-3, outstanding condition, working well, original manual, sounds great on AM and CW and a real treat to use. Original clean bright finish, original knobs, no modifications, no holes or dents no corrosion. 2 years ago I had Gary Brown rewind the LV transformer. In weekly use up till last Fall: $850
Collins 32V-2, pretty good condition, clean, no modifications, LV electrolytic capacitor popped last time used so it needs to be replaced. It was a good performer up till the cap failure. Original finish, original knobs, no holes or rust, some missing paint chips around the front panel mounting screws. I used this quite a bit on 75m AM and 80m CW up until a couple years ago when I got the V-3. I have a manual for it. A nice Collins transmitter for the money: $350
Collins 75A-1, pretty good condition, clean, no modifications, was working last time used a couple years ago, great audio, original finish, original knobs, no holes or rust, some missing paint chips around the front panel mounting screws: $350
Heathkit Mohawk receiver, good condition, clean front panel, original finish, original knobs, no holes, no rust that I know of. I have not restored it yet so I don't know if it works. I may have the original manual for this: $275
Heathkit Maurader transmitter, good condition, clean front panel, original finish, original knobs, no holes, no rust that I know of. I have not restored it yet so I don't know if it works. I may have the original manual for this: $275
Heathkit Apache transmitter, pretty good condition, I last used this around 1996 and it has not been powered up since.: $125
EF Johnson Viking Pacemaker CW/AM/SSB transmitter, working last time used, great condition, original finish, great looking front panel, original knobs, no modifications or holes or corrosion. Original manual. It was fun using it on 75m SSB and 20m SSB: $300
EF Johnson Viking Ranger II, good condition, super clean front panel with the exception of one scratch, original knobs, some missing paint chips on the cabinet, I have not restored yet so I don't know if it works: $350
Hammarlund HX-50, good condition, original finish, original knobs with the exception of the main tuning knob which has been replaced with a spinner knob. I have not restored it yet so working condition unknown: $300
Hammarlund HXL-ONE, very good condition, original owner had some goofy input filter switch modification for separately switching the input grid filters. I'm think that was for use with the WARC bands. I had a reproduction metal chassis piece made to restore the original parallel bandswitch/filter switching but I have never gotten around to implementing the restoration. This is a pretty hot looking amplifier! I have not restored it yet so I don't know if it works. I have the original manual for it. $350
Hammarlund HQ-180C, good condition, original finish, original knobs, clean, last used around 10 years ago. I have an original manual for it: $350
National 173, pretty good condition, original finish, original knobs, last used around 1996: $125
Heathkit Commanche/Cheyenne mobile twins, good condition, 12 volt dc power supply original finish with scratches on the cabinet, clean front panel, original knobs, some documentation, last used around 1998 on 75m AM: $200
Heathkit Commanche spare, PO repainted cabinet, operational conditional unknown. Bought for parts rig but I believe it is complete. $50
