The purpose of a library is clear to everyone and stealing a book is an 
act of selfishness.  Who knows how many others might have developed an 
interest in electronics if that book had been there for them?

My interest was triggered by a different book that I discovered in the 
2nd grade called "A Boy and a Battery" by Alfred Yates.   The librarian 
made me wait a day or two after bringing it back before I could check it 
out again ;-)
