[Boatanchors] Windows Vista mail question - Global message delete

I use XP on one pc and 7 on another.  I've had good luck with one folder at 
a time: first click on the first msg and thne go to bottom on list and simo 
hit shift and left mouse button, all msgs between first and last msgs then 
turn blue.  Click "edit" on top tape file, then click on
"delete".  Entire group of msgs will then be deleted.
Works for me!  Brgds to all, Geo
