Since the Q-multiplier is an IF device that attaches to
the output of the mixer feeding the 455 IF stages, and the Select-O-Ject
is an audio filter, the normal logic is that selectivity
works best the closer it gets to the input of the receiver.

The audio filter will not help if all the rcvr circuitry ahead
of it is overloaded.
