i have this Almost All DIgital Electronice Model DFD103 that needs a new home.
l
This runs off of external power, wallwart or other power supply. I thought i had downloaed the "manual" from "Bama" but i don't find it on my HD anyplace. I have a 9V wallwart that seems to run it ok. This unit is software driven and unless you have the manual for it i doubt you'll configure it properly. I have forgotten how many receivers you can configure it for, 20 or some number like that. Collins, Hammarlund etc. Nice little unit. One thing about it and i don't know but i suspect that it came from the factory like this, it says to push in the "CAL" button in and it should stay pushed in until you push it again, releasing it. On this unit which appears original, that does not happen. You have to push it in and hold it while turning another knob on the front. Display works fine and shows the different IF frequencies for the different bands all the way up to i think it was 32.xxxx mc which would probably be for the 51J receivers. It can be configured for Sideband, CW or Am i think. You gotta have the manual to do it though. Seems to me i set it for the R-388 that i have here. That's as far as i went with it.

Some of the details are a bit foggy but if anyone remembers where the manual was, i searched the Bama site and didn't find it, probably cause i didn't know how it was worded, anyway i'll print the manual out and send it along with the unit if someone buys it. $45 plus shipping for this great do-dad. This is less than it sold for on Ebay but the buyer backed out.
