This will be my First NEARFEST in October. It hit perfect as the week before
we are on vacation in Western Ma. Looks like I will have to be following a
lot of folks...
I hope my 4 wheel scooter will be able to keep up with ya all... Going to be
great to be back in New England and meet new friends and see old friends...

Some guys have all the luck.
I remember being first at an oldtimers car trunk opening as he was putting
everything on the ground. I grabbed a box of 01A's and started to go
through them, looking for the best ones. My friend walked up and looked in
the still half full trunk and pulled out a National 1" scope, right over my
head. $10. the seller told him.
After I culled out about 5 tubes I asked for a price, $1 each or $5 for the
box he said. Of course I gave him the 5 and took the box, and then realized
I had wasted my time, and lost a cool scope. Look - grab - and ask.
So I plan to follow Carl and watch his every move.
He still can carry away only one receiver at a time, so then I'll make my
move! :-)

I don't know how much good that will do for you John.
I hear that you "somehow" need to PRECEDE Carl's passage! Otherwise
he's got everything worth having!
