More sensitivity is good, but the older SIGINT sets with a tunable filter
and mixer, no RF amp, have a Noise Figure of about 8 to 10 dB at X-band.
Not all that bad really.

And remember, a RADAR detection receiver benefits a great deal from the
RADAR equation....  you can see a RADAR waaaaaay sooner than it can see
you.
