[Boatanchors] Question For Today

Like a car, a radio should be turned on every so many weeks (months).  Just 
make sure that you have a speaker attached.

It's like letting a car/truck sit around and never driving it.  Ask my son 
who purchased a Ford truck that had sat for over two years.
