Checking and/or repairing my test gear may not take 
more time, but it certainly takes a lot of care.

One of the first lessons taught me in this biz:

     Do ye thus faithfully:

         1.  Check your test equipment.
         2.  Re-Check your test equipment.
         3.  Then BELIEVE your test equipment.

When I've forgetten this advice, I've regretted it.
