[Boatanchors] Wafer switch lubrication preferences

So far, I have avoided using de-oxit on any of my rigs, maintly because none exhibit contact problems.  Also, have read horror stories of damage done using de-oxit, so will confine use to contacts that aren't working correctly.

 My recently acquired Eico 723's band selector switch doesn't move as easily as it should, but contact is fine.

What is the preferred lubricant to ease mechanical movement of these switches?  I was considering white lithium grease, but thought would ask first.
