[Boatanchors] Johnson Viking I questions

While Mod "B" definitely is the low frequency audio mod, the 829B swap
may or not
be Mod "A" because it's documented in both the operator's manual and the
construction manual.
Mod "A" may be the TVI suppression kit installation, but that seems
unlikely since that's a part-numbered product.
Hmmm... but then, what do I know? I just bought a V I myself and will
be dealing with the same questions soon.
Note that the 829B isn't a drop-in replacement, so check the socket
wiring to make sure it's correct for whatever tube you're using.
Hey, the 813 uses the same socket! HMMMMMMMM.......
By the way, does anyone know why it's "Viking I" as opposed to just
"Viking"? Did Johnson anticipate the Viking II in some way?
