Both of my HQ-129X's have those panels.Id remembered them on Fleabay but
when I needed one about 2 years ago they were nowhere to be found.
After some searching I found a phone # and had a nice chat with Ron. He had
thought there was no longer a need for the panel and I told him I could
guarantee at least 10 buyers. The panel arrived 2 weeks later and I guess he
has been keeping busy. They are made completely by a metal shop and all Ron
has to do is ship them.
The 2nd 129X was bought at Nearfest with a new panel already on it plus
recapped for the princely sum of $75; Todd saw it. The cabinet was a gloss
black rattle can job which looked horrible over the scratched and partially
missing wrinkle; Ive since picked up a real nice cabinet locally that was
holding SS audio gear.
