[Boatanchors] Milliammeter shunt resistance wire sources?

Some shunts require more than .2-.5 ohms which is fairly easy with 
copper wire.  I don't remember exactly but the shunts in Johnson 
Viking/Valiant would require quite a coil of wire if you use the stuff 
that the current requires.  In some cases nichrome wire or low value 
wire wound resistors makes sense.
