Hi Bob,

That was one of the concerns I have about firing up the beastie!  I can look at the output on a spectrum analyzer if I do take it.  I've been listening to that band for years and years.  Most AC stuff in the clear but these days most of the sat stuff, except for the Brazillian trucker pirates, is all digital noise.  The recent activites in "The Gulf" have had more traffic on the sats than I ever heard but alas nearly all digital noise.  Those Brazillains crack me up and have some sets of stones to get 2M ham gear some home brew doublers and then use the older US milsats as repeaters as they haul freight across the wilderness!
