[Boatanchors] AC Line Protection for Boatanchors-Beware ICE

Don't count on ICE for any customer support.  I had one of their 4 port 
active antenna splitters that got zapped.   When I emailed them for 
parts, their sales manager replied; "Don't worry about the parts.  Just 
send us the old unit and we will replace it with a brand new one for 
free."   Well, since it was out of warranty, I thought that was above 
and beyond.   That was three or four years ago.  Never heard from them 
again.  No answer to emails or phone calls.   Now, I don't have new one 
and and I don't have the old one which I could have perhaps fixed or 
salvaged for parts.

It would seem they would work pretty well. Since they are designed mostly for solid state loads, I would think the reaction time would be pretty quick.
