[Boatanchors] F.S. Gonset 500W amp

Greetings all,

A local friend has asked me to sell a Gonset 500W amp for him on Ebay.  It's 
rare enough that I'd thougfht I'd mention it here first in case any of you can't 
live without it.  The tuned input section has been replaced(work quality good) 
with a shunt feed, minor scuffs on front panel, no cabinet but it's clean for 
it's age.  The owner remembers "getting it from a guy who restored it" He's 
hoping for around $200 for it.  I have not powered it up yet and it's rare 
enough that I have no idea of it's value especially with it's shunt feed mod.  
He has turned down a $100 offer here locally.  Your comments please?  Boy did I 
leave myself open there!
