[Boatanchors] Way to go me!

Your 35LR6s have joined the Choir Invisible. R.I.P.
The blue glow is ionized stuff burned off your tube elements.
The "growl" is the power supply wondering why it has
metal-ion gas-filled rectifiers where pentodes should be.
It will destroy itself finding out, if you leave it on very long.
Pull the tubes and see if the "growl" goes away and you
have B+. If not, the bridge diodes followed the tubes
into Linear Heaven.
Sorry, OM. 35LR6s can't be easy to get.
I'd bet some folks here have ideas on how to
change them to something more pocket-book friendly.
