[Boatanchors] tube tester readings

I've got the big brother to the 707, the 747B 'DynaJet' (cool name).
IIRC, the 'TEST 1 & 2' are used for multi-section tubes as well as the
LIFE test. I'm not sure they figured it mattered which section was bad
since bad is bad. to a tube tester, at least. I'll dig out the manual
and see if it sheds any light on the matter. I remember that parts of
the number scale are used for testing rectifiers, 'Good over 40' etc.

The more common tubes that don't require setting up switches for
testing are marked by their respective sockets with Sensitivity
settings, these being referred to as 'JetTests'.

This is a dual section tester which requires only fil V and sensitivity for common ones which test automatically (no setup) once you plug it in to the assigned socket from the chart, then press the one or two test button/s as directed. I believe you are correct, the only way is to check the schematic. I am inclined to believe that the test 1 is the first section mentioned in the tube manuals.
