Maybe a small filament transformer:

8:600 is about 1:75 impedance ratio, so the turns ratio is SQR(75) =
SQR(3) x 5 = 1.73 x 5 = about 8.2:1

The turns ratio of a 12 V filament transformer is 120/12 = 10:1

Close enough. I'd try something small like 12V @ .25 to 1.0 Amp.
