I get 1 or 2 "Friending" requests per day. It is quite clear that when
people sign up for Facebooks "service" the site goes through address books
and sends Friending requests to everybody therein.

Complaints to Facebook's abuse department are met with useless babble
about "my account" which I neither have nor want.

Any site that does such "data miniung" is malicious, IMO.
