Greg, as a general rule tubes intended for operation in TV receivers
that have an "A" suffix were identical with the "standard" version
except for having a controlled heater warm up time for series string
operation. Like all such "general" rules, not always true, but true
often enough that you are unlikely to cause chaos by assuming it to be
true.
