[Boatanchors] GPR-90 Vs R-390A

Goodness ... don't be so harsh on the 140X   ;-)

I've had 2 GPR-90's, one paired with a GSB-1, and currently have  
none.  Which would be a good indication of what I thought of the  
radio, regardless of it's unquestioned good looks.  I do still have an  
SP-600, an R-390 and an R-390A (the SP-600 and R-390 being the ones  
that get the most use).

As for the HQ-140X, one of these days I'll probably spring for one --  
it was the radio we had in my high-school radio club (along with a  
Ranger),  and I got to use it privately over one summer as the  
custodian of the equipment.  I admit to a bit of nostalgic fondness  
for that radio ...
