[Boatanchors] sash weight for antenna

In my novice days I used a TV twin lead dipole on 80 meters and one sash  
weight (you really only need the weight on one side) strung between two cedar 
 trees.  That antenna stayed up for 15 years, ten years after I left home,  
hi.
 
I've seen the sash weights at building salvage yards and antique  stores.  
In LA we have (or had, its been many years since I was there)  Cleveland 
Wrecking's salvage yard of doors, windows, plumbing fixtures and a  pile of 
sash weights.
