hi Greg,
    Use "plain" disc ceramics for bypass applications.  I don't use very 
many O'drops, usually just for coupling between stages.  0.01 discs can be 
bought for 10cts/ or less, IIRC.  Been a month or 3 since I've ordered any. 
I have a pretty good stock of 0.1 OD's, if you need a few I'll bring them to 
the club mtg next week.
