[Boatanchors] Cheaper than an Orange Drop Capacitor?

Hi:
I went shopping on the WWW today to restock my .1 and .01 uf capacitor bins.  Just about fell thru the floor when I saw how much the 400vdc orange drop caps have increased in cost.  Can anyone recommend an alternative and cheaper source for the standard coupling and bypass caps I need to repair receivers and the low level stages in transmitters?
Can you recommend a different format cap that will work as well?
