Picked up a Heathkit IG-42 and started checking it out.  The tubes light, the OB2 glows but it seems nothing is coming out of the unit.  The meter on the unit shows that there is something there (I can change the meter reading with the front control knob - evento full scale)....but I cannot get my counter to lock to any frequency that is being generated by the unit.  The counter works great with the MFJ259 and will read the frequency.  Anyone have any ideas?  I guess I should buy the manual and see what the specs are...and how to operate the darn thing.
