I honestly don't care what someone asks for their stuff, it's theirs
after all and I'm free to walk away if I don't agree. The market tends
to take care of most of this. If it is indeed overpriced, it won't
sell.

It's more the issue of no price, what'll ya give me, what's it worth
to ya, and all that. For me, life is too short for such BS. I'm sure
Robert feels the same about the people who want his items for free,
whine about the prices, or are too cheap to even reimburse someone who
offers them help if they'll cover the cost of shipping.

Unfortunately, we're likely to see more of the former as the
'investors' scramble to get their money back in a market of declining
demand, heftier ebay/paypal fees and so on. And as far as the latter,
well - cheap people have always been around, beyond the typical
frugal/thrifty ham types.
