[Boatanchors] DX-35 Problem(s)

Don't give up, Gene. You'll get it. I haven't followed the thread
closely, so forgive me if you have already been through this. I have
always found voltage measurements can do much more for trouble shooting
than can a scope. If you have the manual (again, I haven't followed
closely) and can run through the voltages I bet you'll get it. Don't
forget, it will most likely be the most simple thing that is causing the
problems not the most complex or that's usually my findings. I overlook
the obvious searching for something difficult. HI HI

I use to do a lot of work on the old DX-20 and DX-40 and they can't be
that different from the DX-35.

Hang in there, you'll get it.

Well, my fellow Hams, I GIVE UP1

It seems as though every time I find something that might be wrong and
correct it, I get different symptoms.

I have spent several weeks on this and have not discovered the
problem(s),
so I QUIT.

It is very hard to try and fix something without the proper test
equipment,
namely a scope. . . . .

Thanks to all that have offered help.
