Good Day All,

Thanks to a number of very gracious individuals on-line, I've managed to accumulate quite a collection of documentation & paperwork on the venerable RCA AR-88 receiver here, that I'd never ever seen before, or even knew existed! --- many thanks to all who took the time to e-mail me...

I am still curious, however, as to the specific AR-88 related contents of the following publications:

-"PRACTICAL WIRELESS" (August 1987);

-"SHORTWAVE MAGAZINE" (October 1965);

-"SHORTWAVE MAGAZINE" (May 1993);

-"SHORTWAVE MAGAZINE" (August 1993), and,

"RADIO BYGONES" (Christmas 1992).

Does anyone have these included in their radio library...? They were all listed as reference sources in an AR-88 S-meter article gleaned from "THE VMARS NEWSLETTER" for October 2001.

By the way, if anyone reading this owns an AR-88, and would like some more information on this classic, I have electronic jpeg copies of lots & lots of "goodies" that go well beyond just the owner's manual itself --- tell me what it is you might be looking for, and I'll be only too happy to forward whatever it is that I have here along to you (this includes a copy of the 1944 RCA sales brochure for the rig, as well as scanned copies of articles featuring the receiver from "THE OLDTIMER'S BULLETIN", and "ELECTRIC RADIO" magazine).
