Hi Eugene,
Bob is right-on: place the SB-610 right between the amplifier & tuner...
Changes in SWR here on mine WILL make the trace outline change in size, too,
BTW...by keeping the SWR relatively constant (by virtue of its placement
between the amp, and BEFORE the tuner), you will be effectively minimizing
any such negative effect upon the "repeatability" of the trace pattern
size...
