I have my receiver setting on 10.13880 a lot of time listening for WSPR and WSJT signals. There is a station that comes on sending the following sequence:

HI HI HI Message follows and then proceeds with numbers and characters for about a minute. I've not copied any of it other than in my head (that didn't last long as there is no retention there) so i don't know if it's repetitive or not. Will have to put it on paper to see what's going on. It might just be someone doing some code practice for themselves, maybe practicing for when their license appears, or just doing it for fun or maybe it actually has a purpose, i don't know. If you can't hear it audibly get the program ARGO and use it for a good weak signal presentation on the screen.

The term "message follows" is one that USAF uses as a preface to their coded voice messages you hear on some of the HF frequencies.

> Hi Kids,
> The link below goes to a good brief article on these stations. I remember as a kid in the early 70's spending hours transcribing these transmissions convinced that I would be able to decode them if I listened long enough! Hey!, what does a 10 year old kid know of "one time use pads"? When sponning the dial, even
