[Boatanchors] Five Letter Group CW Station

Hi Kids,

The link below goes to a good brief article on these stations.  I remember as a kid in the early 70's spending hours transcribing these transmissions convinced that I would be able to decode them if I listened long enough!  Hey!, what does a 10 year old kid know of "one time use pads"?  When sponning the dial, even today, I cant resist stopping for a momentwhen I hear one.

The author Havana Moon. was a regular colum editor in Popcom or Monitoring Times (can't remember what one) about these types of mystery transmissions.  The WIKI Ling has loads of info as well as well as links to recordings.  Welcome children to the dark side of radio,and I don't mean solidstate.
