[Boatanchors] Five Letter Group CW Station

I was just (+/- 2:30pm est) tuning around with the HQ-140X, looking for CHU, when I ran across a very strong station sending five letter code groups on MCW at maybe 20wpm around 8125 kc. The signal strength was against the pin  with no QSB, well maybe a few db. They stayed against the pin for maybe ten minutes then sent a few ARs and SK and stopped sending....carrier still up 15 mins later with no modulation. I suppose this is one of the 'spy' stations I've seen bits and pieces about over the years plus I've heard them before. My question is does anyone have any idea where the station might be. I'm in the midst of Ft. Bragg, Seymour Johnson and Marine bases along the coast of NC..plus who knows what else. It was just so strong and steady it got me to wondering. They may not be close to me, but the propagation path was really good .. ..Bill K4JYS
