[Boatanchors] vairac help

I could not come up with a part number match for a GE TMV-5 Variac.
The markings look the same as found on Industrial Control TRANSFORMERS.  I wonder if this could be a Isolation Variac? 
I starting to feel as if I'm on "DO YOU WANT TO BE A MILLIONARE?",  in which case I'm going to have to call a friend.
