[Boatanchors] Advice on a ARR-15 please

Ive been using a BC-312 with my Navy ATC which is a pre renamed ART-13.

Id like to use it with a Navy radio and wonder how the ARR-15 stacks up?

Not much info on the Net other than it is similar to a SX-28, no bandspread, 
autotune which can be bypassed, drifts like any Halli, etc.

Pros, Cons, Prices?? Useful mods?

I have a RBB and RBC shipboard receivers but they wont fit the available 
space.
