[Boatanchors] Halli 101 Mark Two

	Talking about BBOD's and such.  I started to redo a functioning 101
that I bought off a SWL about 20 years ago, still worked but deaf as a rock
on the hi bands and calibration was off.  So I started my project--first
Halli now-- I rebuilt a ton of old tube radios and such, including broadcast
gear to keep it running.  Thought I was pretty smart.  But I pulled one of
the worst faults that a Novice to Halli could do.....washed all of the decal
window markers off of the set, well needless to say I was not pleased.  When
I got the unit our, took all the tubes out and gave it a good wash with a
hose and put it on the picnic table in a HOT Memphis sun to quickly dry out.

It would not work again,  It is still on the bench after four years and I
need to get to it, suspect I got water into a pink cap or some residue
somewhere.  OA2 glows, just don't pick up stations.

Well have to learn the hard way...
