[Boatanchors] Update on Garey Barrell

Received the following from Garey's daughter this morning:


Hi Tom,
Garey's daughter again.  Dad receives MANY [e-mails]!  Which brings a 
smile to his face...

I am back in town to visit for a few days and thought I would send you
the latest update on Dad.  He was sprung from the "big hospital" (where
he had his surgery in early June) on Thursday, he is now in a rehab
hospital to get toned up (or as he might say, "tuned up"!) after
lounging in his hospital bed all summer.  The hope is that he will be
able to complete this part of his recovery in about three weeks, and
then return home good as new.

He has received many e-mails, and quite a few "HAM cards" (the
ones with the call letters on them) all of which get smiles and a few
get laughs!  I must say I am very thankful that he has such a great
network of supportive friends...
