Hi, Duane,

As always, it's enjoyable when you pop up.

The poem reminded me of a few pre-eBay purchases that met a smoky
demise and one eBay one that did so before it landed here. Apparently
the phrase "excellent condition" has some less wonderful meaning of
which I'd been previously unaware.

Counter to that, a "free to good home" HT-32 showed up here (my first
ever commercially made set!) with the only known issue being the
VOX/anti-VOX circuit which I'll get to as soon as I can find an engine
hoist to get it on the bench. (The more recently acquired SX-24
that's destined for the prewar station is lighter by half.
Thankfully.) It came from a couple of OTs who had finished up with
everything else but couldn't get it to work no how. Since I'm not
sure I want a VOX anyway, I may just add a PTT circuit and be done
with it.

Isn't this fun?

Best regards,

Michael, WH7HG
