[Boatanchors] Screen Modulated AM

The idea that the manual must include tuning the piece of equipment into
an amplifier is ludicrous!

Linear amplifiers did not always have a series of tuned input circuits
for the 50 ohm impedance. Especially those that were HB.

The PI Network output of the radio usually sufficed to keep within the
tunable range of the radio.

So it is laughable to be asked if the manual on a screen modulated,
controlled carrier radio like the DX-60 would list how to tune it while
hanging an Amp Supply LK-500ZB off of it.

Does a Kenwood TS-820S do so? The SB-102 didn't either.

Back to regular programming!

Carl - let the AF-67 run with the SGC-230! It's will do about twice the
power than your DX-60 will.

While a doubling of the power barely makes a noticeable difference on
the needle of an S-Meter, it DOES make a difference to the ear!
