The SX-32 was produced, but not in great numbers as WWII
intervened and the SX-28 was favored by the military. While the front
panel looks similar to the '28, the '32 has fewer tubes and less
sophisticated circuitry. I'm not where I can get my hands on my
reference material this weekend, and I can't give specifics off the top of my head. But, rest assured, the SX-32 was produced. I've owned two, but sold the last of that pair at Dayton a dozen years ago.

I happened to see an old 1941 issue of Electronics last night, and
there was a little item and picture in there about the Hallicrafters
SX-32. From the picture it looks exactly like the SX-28, but the
picture is small. I'm guessing this might be a product that never
made it because of WW-II. Anybody know for sure?
