Ive received the NC-240D info and it has also been added to the 
Glowbugsradio forum for all to see. Thanks for the help.

It is applicable to many brands of radios using 6K8, 6SA7 and similar 
octal mixers/converters

As far as nomenclature: Thats what happens when the remaining idiots in 
marketing got let out of the asylum for a few years when others were off 
to WW2. Happily that ended rather soon and a normal model designator 
returned, never to change again.

You forgot the 1-10 which undoubtedtly started the process. However that 
had a real meaning which the others did not.

I can now decide which one of my NC-200's and NC-240D's I want to 
convert.
